Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Plumber to join our construction team. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. This includes water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fittings, and plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water tanks, and geysers.

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of plumbing systems and tools, be capable of reading blueprints, and work efficiently with other trades to complete installations and repairs to high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Installation Work:
Install pipes and fixtures for water, gas, and waste systems in accordance with project specifications and plumbing codes.
Set up water tanks, geysers, and sanitary wares like sinks, toilets, urinals, and bathtubs.
Install rainwater harvesting systems or pressure booster pumps if required.

Repairs and Maintenance:
Detect and fix leaking pipes, clogged drains, and broken fixtures.
Replace old or damaged plumbing parts such as valves, joints, hoses, or taps.

Reading Blueprints:
Interpret construction drawings and pipe layout designs to plan plumbing routes.
Mark and measure areas for pipe installation and fixture fitting.

Testing & Inspection:
Test plumbing systems for leaks using air or water pressure gauges.
Ensure plumbing systems are functioning properly before handover.

Safety & Compliance:
Follow safety guidelines on-site and comply with local plumbing codes and standards.
Coordinate with electricians and civil workers to avoid conflicts in installation.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
ITI certificate or diploma in Plumbing or a related trade preferred.

Experience:
Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience as a plumber in construction projects.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in using plumbing tools like pipe cutters, threaders, welding machines, etc.

Knowledge of different pipe materials (PVC, CPVC, GI, PPR, HDPE) and fittings.

Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

Physical Requirements:

Capable of working at heights, in trenches, and in confined spaces.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials.

Work Conditions:
Work is performed at construction sites in all weather conditions.

Must use personal protective equipment (helmet, gloves, boots, etc.).

May require overtime, shift work, or weekend duty based on project needs.
